Today we're going to talk about in-house assistants versus virtual assistants. Every company, when they're starting out, and what you'll find is as a company, companies go big, whether it's Amazon, whether it's Chase Bank, whether it's AT&T, they all hire remotely. So my very first hire is going to be virtual. There is no way I'm hiring somebody in-house virtual assistants, no matter what business you're in.
If you haven't looked at remote staff, you've got to take a look at it. They can do so many things that you have no idea. You just have to figure out what your needs are of this remote staffing person. If you actually break it down, you can't afford not to hire somebody virtually as a first hire. So you can go out and do more sales.
You can definitely save money with virtual assistants. So do I think that an in-house assistant is important?
Welcome back to our podcast stamp staff on remote staffing and how you can utilize remote staffing within your company.
So let's get started. Today we're going to talk about in-house assistants versus virtual assistants and what they can do.
What's the difference? Why you should hire virtual assistants or remote staffing, as we call it. So what do you think, Mark?
I think every company, when they're least starting out and what you'll find is as a company go big, whether it's Amazon, whether it's Chase Bank, whether it's AT&T, they all hire remotely. But where most people kind of mess up as they think their first hire needs to be their right hand person, right beside them. And really, the first person they need to hire is one artificial intelligence.
They need to do AI first and get as much taken off their plate as possible with A.I. and then go to virtual assistant or remote staffing where you don't have to pay for the office space, you don't have to pay for the computer like they work remotely. I think that's a great point because we had met somebody recently and she had many, many, many companies.
She brought up some good points. I think the first thing that she tries to do is A.I. or apps using different apps. And then secondly is always a virtual assistant of a virtual assistant can do it instead of an in-house assistant. Definitely. That is always number two from her. No matter where she's at within her business now, she's very good at the operations and the management of a remote staff.
But then, as she calls it, it's either boots on the ground or a specialist in something that she hires. And she only does that if the artificial intelligence or the apps or the virtual assistants can't do it. And that's exactly what we do. Yeah. Because like a specialist can be anything could be a company that runs a certain thing for you, whether it's your videos or whether it's, you know, if you're property management, somebody who comes in and fixes the air conditioner, you may not have somebody full time, but you may hire that company.
So that's boots on the ground like what you're talking about there. And then the next step is, do I need to actually hire a person to work for my company? Like not a contractor, not a specialist to come in and help with this? So there's really four steps. There's a AI or apps, whatever you want to call them, to take care of it.
Then it's remote staffing. Somebody who may or may not be, you know, they're not going to be in the office, they may be in the United States, they may be in Mexico, they may be in the Philippines, maybe in Costa Rica or wherever they're going to be. But they're not there. They may or may not work 40 hours a week for you.
Mm hmm. Then the next step is specialist. Somebody come in who specializes in. Hey, maybe it's a videographer. Maybe it's a, you know, person to handle, As I said, the air conditioning. Maybe somebody come in handling accounting for your company attorney. Attorney. They're not an employee, so you're not paying a W-2 to them. It's all 1099. What? You're important to them.
And then the next step, the final step, is where you actually, if needed, do I need an actual person here? Right. Wherever you're located. Do I need an actual person at 1 to 3 Main Street in my office to be here 40 hours a week, 20 hours a week, whatever it is you're going to hire them for. And then that's the kind of like where you need to go with that.
Yep. So the first thing I would do, and I'm going to give the example of Real Estate Inc because that real estate is just an easy example for us to give you. But I want you to do this with whatever company you
