Welcome back to our third episode of our podcast, Stamp Staff, Virtual Assistants and this is a place where we share to small business owners, entrepreneurs and managers how to work with virtual assistants. Most effective, all the things that they can do, the challenges, the problems, communication, all sorts of different things that you want to know about either utilizing virtual assistants or potentially looking into utilizing a virtual assistant. We're going to talk about it all here on this episode. We are talking about marketing, virtual assistants and what they can do for you. So what I'm going to go over is a list of about 15 things that a marketing virtual assistant can do for you. And then we're going to kind of go through and break some of them down on how you can utilize them. So of course you can hire marketing companies and pay 800,000 or an in-house marketing assistant. You can do that as well. But we feel that, you know, first of all, that you as a business owner should be in charge of your marketing. But what's the first position that you usually say? Most businesses, and I think that most businesses should hire a marketing assistant and this is not a person to run your marketing, this is an actual assistant to you that can help you with your marketing and all the things that they can do. So I don't feel that you have to you know, the first hire is not necessarily getting a marketing company or something like that and paying, you know, 50 to 100000 or more. Some of the things that they can do is they can manage your social media, your online presence, which is so important. They can help you with your content creation for your online presence and even emails and things like that. They can help you with email marketing retargeting Potential clients pass clients video editing, which everyone should be doing video today. So that's another thing. Market research. So researching and analyzing the market and helping you with your local Alessio and what you can be doing there, your Google business profile management. And if you have local service ads, they can help you manage that as well. The analytics, analytics and reporting of all the marketing that you're doing and that they are helping you with, that they can do that. So just helping you with the lead generation that you've come up with and they can help you create it. Events, coordination. So if you are deciding to do client parties and things like that, they can market those for you. They can also do project management and they can help you with fliers and postcards and presentations in your businesses, business cards, anything that you can imagine that is a creative part of your business, specific industry, things they can help you with. So for example, in real estate, they can help you with creating your listing presentation to buyers presentation. They can help you with marketing your listings, they can help you with marketing open houses, they can help you with. Let's say you have an expired listing, so you're talking about real estate. So if I give you some other professions, could you name what they would help them with? Well, let's let's mortgage brokers go ahead and tell us what market you used to be an A mortgage broker. So so to me, I think a mortgage brokers, obviously your Google business profile, they don't have a local service. And so that's not one of their options, their videos. There's not very many lenders that I know that actually do video consistently. And the ones that do get great response, they're correct. That's one thing that I don't really see. And then we just did a study where for our trainees we made them go and I gave them names of local lenders, mortgage brokers, and I said, Tell me everything that's wrong with their Google business profile. They literally all came back with a whole sheet like I just randomly named. I knew that they were in my area name that my area to them. So to me, those are the two things. And then the content creation they can help you with in terms of what to put on there from your site and what's going on. Because like to me, if I were looking for a mortgage lender or shopping or whatever else, like I would want to know like the programs. Yeah. And I can never find the programs. Yeah, I have to call if I want to know the programs. I almost always have to call the lender. Hey, hey, what's going on? What's the pricing today? Because, you know, pricing changes sometimes two or three times a day for the loan price. So, like, if I were to go, hey, what's a71 arm today, there's no way I can do like, I don't even know if they have it. I have to call each lender. So it's like if there were stuff that I know they have and then as I got more serious or if I found a property I like, I mean, that would be amazing. What about YouTube or what would you say a professional YouTuber who makes money from doing YouTube? Well, they can use it to an hour to optimize their YouTube page to run ads. They can edit videos, they can make shorts, time stamping, they can make the short reels, the 32nd or 45 second reels. They can also do the long form content. They can analyze stuff to see what they can. They can send it over to say, Hey, me and this one, people were dropping off at whatever time and they can do that. I think it's an end to you. So what we mean by dropping off is all videos have analytics that literally show you who your audience is, shows you male, female. It shows you win the best times your audience is watching. They show you how long somebody watched the video where they dropped off and no longer watch the video. What about the companies that do the electricals charging stations for electric cars like Tesla, like really only Tesla is the only with electrical car now. But since they've stopped but like those charging stations that you see, you know, where you go in, you plug your car in and pump it up. Like what if a station like that, like, what can they do? I have no idea. Why don't you tell me? I have no idea. So go ahead and drop that out. I don't know. So, like, to me, their Google business profile, because they're they're always going to be, well, Google business profile for anybody who meets people, any company locally, Google Business profile, you need and you need somebody to optimize it for you and you need somebody to actually manage it for you. So if you are a local business, any local business needs Google business profile. And I think same thing with them when they're also is, is they would need videos showing me what it takes like if, if there was upkeep that I could do to prevent it from being damaged like in our condo in central Florida and they have stations there. So like what happens when one of those gets damaged? Like, who do I call and like to be able to, hey, maybe I don't need to call them out. Maybe I don't need to pay $500 for them to come out and do it. Maybe I can fix it myself or prevent people from backing into it or pulling in to it or ways around it too. I just think that that would be something there. Oh, the thing is, Virtual assistant, that is your marketing assistant can help you with doing all of this stuff. And that's the reason why I think it should be your first hire. I think that they can help you with so many different things in your business and your social media. I think everybody needs to be doing videos. People do not want to look at posts anymore. Mark is doing a half day event on December 27th that you are not going to want to miss. It's $27. It is going to include video branding, hooks, scripts, lead conversion through video and presents, how to come up with topics, how to not be boring, Everything that you want to know. It's going to help you build your personal brand. We guarantee that you won't be disappointed with this half day, and it'll be one of the best half days that you ever spend. And it's a virtual. They want to be able to interact. And with videos are still pictures. Like just a picture. Yeah. Are still pictures. And the thing with video is when people are picking on who they want to do business with, they look at who they know, like and trust. And that's what video does. Video gets people to watch and to see if they know, like and trust you to want to do business with you. So that's why video so important and that's why they're pushing out so much video. And if you say, Oh, well, I'm too late to get into video because no, you are in many industries. It's just the beginning. So videos are so important in every industry and you should be doing them. That's what they can be editing those videos. They can be putting them up on social media for you. They can actually be worth every every business also has email marketing like they are. They should have some form of email marketing, whether it's past clients, current clients, people that they've met that they're they're sending them to. So like if they met with you five years ago and you did them like you still want to stay in front of them and the virtual assistant can set that up for you, whatever program you send it out in, There's millions of them out there that your newsletter or your weekly or monthly or however you decide to send it out based on your industry, They can get that set up for you and handle it and actually send it out for you. So you you show them how to do it, set it and forget it. And you know, if you're doing anything like a podcast, right, how can they help you with the podcast? So they're going to time stamp it. So they would take this what is time stamp? Time time stamp is watch the whole video, go in and figure out the clips that they can pull out. So and it's not like from minute 45 to minute 135, it's like when I said this, you said this, and mixing them together with a hook to make it flow for a 3045 second short form, whether it's a YouTube short, whether it's a Facebook reel, something to post there, because remember, the short form is really kind of a lead magnet. It drives it to the longer form. So if you're doing it long form content, whether it's a podcast, whether it's a webinar, you have to do shorts or you have to do reels because you haven't earned like an hour, 25 minute thing. So they can do that, they can market your podcast, they can edit your podcast, they can put it out there for you, They can do a lot of different things for your podcast. They can also do marketing for recruiting. So if you are, for example, a real estate team, how can they help you market? Well, they can pull up the names, whatever the type you want to do, and then they can Obviously, if you've done a video, they can add it for you and then they can remarket to them based on their Facebook or Instagram upload them in a custom audience, target them that way. Yep. And they can go on to your LinkedIn so they can help you with recruiting. If you are doing a pie giveaway, let's say for Thanksgiving or something like that, they can help you create fliers. They can retarget to your past client, they can make email marketing, they can track it, they can do so many different things to help you with event coordination, project management. They can help you create, you know, if you're using something like Monday or Asana and there's hundreds of them out there, they can help you to make sure that that's being run efficiently. There are so many different things. You know, your fliers and your postcards, any type of presentation. So when we're doing presentation, who and we do a lot of you know, we speak at a lot of events and things, who does all of our presentations for us, they do the presentation. So I kind of we work with them because I'm, I do not like Google slides. I just it's just not my thing and I make them okay. This is what I want. They they go and do it and then we'll have a call and I'll be like, Hey, I kind of like this and let's take that out. Let's add, you know, this clip of what I want them to say, and they're literally, Rob, while I'm talking to them, they're fixing the slides and then we send them in. So if there's ones that want to have video on them, so they're embedding the video so that it can be played on stage. So they're creating all of that. Yeah. So all I'm doing is I'm like, here's what I'm going to be talking about. The other thing is when we're going to events, who literally comes up with everything for the event, so the fliers or the QR codes or the ways to bring people, if we have a booth, like if we're a vendor and we have a booth set up, the the whole point is, is we need to get people to come to our booth. So remember, there's going to be other vendors there. I mean, if you're the only vendor, awesome, But you've got to plan that there's going to be other vendors there. And then when they get to your booth, how can you capture their information? Because is it just going to be a business card? You know, that's not really anything. What are you offering them? What can they just scan and take with them? So not everybody likes a business card. We found that out. If it if it's an age demographic, they're like, as you said, we're ancient or something. Yeah, Yeah. If they're under a certain age, like, they're like, what's a business card? Yeah, well, the big thing that they can do is they can create everything that you are going to do at the event so they can create from the presentations that we talked about, they can create any type of fliers, they can recreate offers, QR codes. We always have different things that we give away. They create all of that. They create. They were literally working while we were having the event, creating the contract and sending it over to them. So the people who wanted to sign up. But what the marketing assistant does is they have a complete checklist that they've helped us create along the way, that every event they start marketing it two weeks out, right, two weeks before. So they start running. So like, for example, we had a collaboration and we filled it up in 30 minutes. So at the last event in Orlando, Kristen was going to collaborate one video and she's like, Let's just do ten. They really put it out like they didn't even have to email anybody or do anything. They literally just put it out on social media and a few other things and bing, bang, bang, boom, fill that. And they start marketing. For example, they do retargeting ads to people that have been interested previously who've watched 3 seconds or more of your video. Yeah, 3 seconds or more of your video. They do that. They do so much stuff. Like I said, is least one two things that a virtual marketing assistant can do to help your business. But if you were to name the top five things that you would start because you know, when you when you have a marketing virtual assistant and let's say you hire somebody for 20 hours a week, they can probably do depending on how long it takes, you've got to figure that out. Editing a real So that's short form under a minute, really between 30 and 30 seconds and one minute. People are surprised that to do a decent edit, it takes about an hour and a half to 2 hours to be able to post it all over social media and edit that short form video. Yes, because people are used to taking shortcuts. And so remember, that's what the consumer sees is when your video is not sharp or not edited. Well, like, that's your brand. Yeah. Like you're you're just a oh, you hold the phone up and it's blurry and there's smudges like that's your brand as a consumer, right? That's what they're going to see. So to me, the top five things are video Google Business profile. If you have it in your industry, local service ads would be the top three. Like those, we'd start right right away. And then the other thing is, if you get start getting more and more business, I would do remarketing, I wouldn't do new, I would do remarketing. People who've already shown interest in you somehow to do that. And then the fourth thing is, is if you're doing events, some type of QR code or some ways to like working the event to actually capture information. So either doing an event as a vendor or whatever, or also a client event. So I think they're very similar and in how you're just any event. So like it's your audience. So like we talked about, this is like getting on whichever audience you want, but like if you can, they can help you with your audience and your stage. Yep. And I think one of the biggest things that you have to do is the overall omnipresent. So let me tell you, in real estate, for example, if if you are marketing to potential sellers out there, what is the first thing that all the sellers are going to do that you've never met before? So these are not past clients or referral clients. These are people that you've marketed and they've never met you before. What's the first thing that they're going to do? They're going to Google your name. They are going to look at how you represent yourself compared to other people. They are going to look to see how your omnipresence is. It is. So it's the same thing they do with a restaurant. Absolutely. So if you're looking for a restaurant, so let's let's say you're in Athens, Greece, and you're you've just landed and you're looking for a restaurant near your hotel, what do you do? Google, Google, go to Google and then you read the reviews and then you probably go to another platform. Yeah. So this is the part where people miss when you talk about omnipresence is most consumers use more than one platform for research. And then it just came out that Half day event, December 27. You'll want to be there. We're going to help you build your brand. We're going to help you with how to create videos, where to do them, how to get your hooks, how to get the body, how to get offers in, and where you should put offers, how to actually get people to call you or come to you for business, and then how it'll relate to your other products, whether it's Google Business Profile, YouTube shorts, your Web page, this event is going to be action packed for $27 December 27th. Gen Z 51% of them prefer to do their searches on TikTok, which is surprising to so many people. So that's a woman talking about a marketing assistant like most people don't even have marketing people. Yeah. And so when we say that the videos were the first part and you need somebody, you can edit them well, like that's why because they're going to go to Google, they're going to read the reviews and then they're either going to go to TikTok, they're going to go to Instagram, whatever they're comfortable with. And if you're not there, you've lost. Yeah. And one of the big things are, is that if you have this person as a marketing assistant and that you're paying, you know, around $10 an hour or two or you have an in-house that you're paying maybe 50 to 100000, you know, what's the difference to me is that number one is somebody like us, we are up on what is going on in the industry all the time because of all the things that we're involved in. We know what's going on in the industry. A inhouse marketing assistant is not being updated, for example, and the 300 changes on Google, right? 300 different things. Did you know that now Google and and Tic TAC are collaborating on some things that each one of them are good at. They wouldn't know that you can actually add your Google business profile as the location on your tik-tok video an in-house person. And yes, they may have a degree or experience or things like that, but they absolutely do not bring that. What we're talking about digital marketing and marketing in a company and everything else is changing literally weekly, monthly, daily, and your in-house people are not up to date, most of them. On those changes, you would probably have to know them yourself to have them update themselves on it. So when you're hiring somebody that is a marketing assistant, work for you directly. You've got to look at all these 15 to 20 things that we discussed and you got to figure out what is the best thing for you. I always like people to look at. First of all, where is their business app? How much money are they making? 00:19:58:22 - 00:20:19:19 Unknown Because you want to make sure that you can afford it. So, for example, if you're hiring a part time person that's working 20 hours a week for you, you know, it might cost you $1,000 a month for 20 hours a week, which to me that's amazing. Okay. That's a really, really good price for you to help you with all of these different things. If you're making 75,000, you know, you can definitely afford somebody to help you with these areas of your business. If you're making more and you can bring somebody in at 40 hours a week and maybe that's costing you 18,000 a year. Yeah, look at the difference a marketing assistant can help you with. With all the things that we talked about with, you know, the Google business profile, the omnipresence, the email marketing, the retargeting, the video editing, helping you with content creation and analytics. I'm helping you with, you know, some of your lead generation. They're not going to manage your lead generation, but they're going to help you implement it with your newsletters, with all your graphics and your presentations and any type of fliers and business cards and email marketing. They're going to help you with local SEO optimization. That has to be done all the time. And blogging, you know, blogging with your local SEO optimization. There are things that are changing all the time, and you have to have somebody who can be up to date and that can help you move your business forward so that you can also not have to like, I know me, I yes. Can I do a flier? I taught myself how to do a flier many years ago. It probably takes me to do a flier, a good flier, two or 3 hours. It is so not best use of my time. So a lot of you who are doing it. Yeah. Can you do it yourself? Sure you can. But a marketing assistant can help you change your life in your business. And I feel that hiring a virtual marketing assistant is the way to go. What do you say? Oh, yeah. Without to start the start, you got to start there. And so anyways, what else do you have to say with this? That's it. So I would hire a virtual marketing assistant. That's where to start in your business. And on the upcoming episodes, we're going to talk about the other things that virtual assistants can do in your business. But remember, you have to think this through. And how can a virtual assistant help you in your business? And I definitely would start with a marketing virtual assistant. See you on the next episode by.
